The chosen colours and materials were selected to create a strong connection with the existing building, reinforcing the harmony and dialogue between the brand’s graphic identity and the building’s atmosphere. The result showcases a space in tune with its function and image. We aimed to maintain the existing walls with their characteristics and anomalies, using them as a canvas to communicate the brand and strengthen the Padel Rey identity. We believe this is a unique padel club, with its own story, and that it will stand out for its identity and quality. Housed in a building that initially only provided the necessary space for 5 padel courts, we found inspiration in its flaws, turning them into strengths for the headquarters of a brand that will make a difference in the national padel scene.
Padel Rey
construction phase
We can’t talk about the visual identity of the new brand Padel Rey without considering the building where it will come to life. The warehouse, with its history, characteristics, qualities, and flaws, will be part of the Padel Rey story. Our main goal was to best fit the five padel courts into this irregular building and, at the same time, integrate the entire program that comes from its exploration. With this in mind, it’s clear that the focus of the space is the fields, so we decided to explore the gaps, analyzing their potential to adapt them to the remaining needs of the program, making use of the strengths of the existing architectural elements, in terms of form and material, integrating them with the proposed intervention.
