Young Architects Found AMATAM Studio

Manuela Tamborino and João Escaleira Amaral are two young architects who decided to team up to respond to the new challenges in the world of Urbanism, Design, and Architecture. In 2011, this challenge took shape with the creation of AMATAM – Atelier Urbanismo in Almada.

Every project is unique: We treat each proposal as if it were the first, respecting our clients’ intentions and transforming them into original, efficient, and charismatic solutions. From concept to construction: We give form, content, and soul to the challenges we face—whether through ideas, models, or finished projects. Integrated Solutions: Our projects go beyond architecture. These are transversal solutions that combine functionality, technique, aesthetics, and, above all, sensoriality. Because spaces should be felt.
